An Educator’s Story

My name is Jonathan Long.  I am part of the final Cohort for The Woodrow Wilson Georgia Teaching Fellowship at Piedmont College.  I am completing my internship at Habersham Central High School teaching Biology.  I was born and raised in Habersham County and graduated from Habersham Central High School in 2013.  I went on to study biology at Shorter University.  I then transferred to the University of North Georgia where I received a bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Psychology.  I decided to go into teaching because I wanted to impact the next generation, and I felt that the best way for me to do so was in the classroom.
